Passion for people and their stories
Using pictures to tell personal stories, has been my passion as long as I can remember. And it was this talent that proved to be my gateway into the Danish television industry at a young age. I spent 12 years working for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation within the kids and youth department, where I was involved from A to Z in a wide range of high quality television formats. Today, I have more than 20 years of experience in telling visual stories. During the past 10 years, I have been working as a freelancer with formatted television, documentaries and online communication in Denmark and abroad.
Working on the edge of the world
The fact that I was born in Greenland has led me back to the Arctic on several projects and expeditions where one is subject to the harsh nature and extreme wether conditions. Spending my early childhood in Marocco with my parents planted an affection for the African continent. When I am working for United Nations or on other projects all over Africa it always reminds me about my admiration for the continet, even in areas challenged by conflict. And there is a close connection between my acquired experiences and the desire to learn more about people around the world.
